2008年4月2日は太田裕美オールソングコレクションの出荷日?ですが、それと同時にこの入手困難のCD-BOX「太田裕美の軌跡」を発売価格の値段で美品−中古で、やっと探し見つけだしました。オールソングコレクションとダブりがほとんどですが、このLPサイズボックス.ジャケットが好きなんです、〜赤いシャポーの味の素〜はまさに太田裕美の世界を感じる名曲です!やっと、やっと、・・・今はしあわせです。

この再発盤、リマスターにあたり、全体的にピッチが落とされている様で、旧盤のファンからは不評らしいです。しかし何はともあれ、入手困難だった盤の再発は嬉しい。チャールズヘイワード加入前の実にフリーな演奏で、とてもかっこ良いです。ビルラズウェルのベースも相当なもので彼の数ある仕事の中でもかなり上位にくるんじゃないかな。フレッドフリス曰く、このリマスター盤が”オリジナルの音”らしいですが、ピッチ修正前の旧盤が聴いてみたいところ。
