七夕夜想曲~村下孝蔵最高選曲集 其の壱 (SACDハイブリッド盤)
「初期デジタル録音の音源はSACD化してもたいして音質上がらない」との説通り、八十年代後期になるほど音質がペラペラになっていきます。一曲一曲の音質のムラが明確にわかってしまい、かなり波がある（スタジオ機器のレベルまで伺えてしまうような変化）。たしかにシングル群は現行のCDで十分な音質であるし、上記理由でやや白ける。
ただし、二枚目のライブ音源、こちらは自然な音質でいい。たった四曲だが。

映画：『乱暴者の世界』主題歌に起用された2曲目の"ＣＬＡＩＭＡＮＴ"。
どの曲もどこか懐かしさを感じさせてくれる。
なつかしいけど、新しい？
線の細く見えるバンドだけど、音はうらはらにインパクトを与えてくれる。
ついつい聞きたくなって、毎日聴いてる♪
今後が楽しみなバンドかな。。

Is it any wonder that for 'Bridge, the best of Mera' they chose a number of tracks from this brilliant Mera offering. Though the release date may well be a little long in the tooth the CD is thankfully not. Of course one understands that with every Mera offering one is going to encounter pure genius, but to what degree largely depends on the choice of songs, the production and the direction. This particular CD is (dare I say) his best work to date. Mera's soaring counter-tenor vocals treat us to a meleflous array of ballards and classical work alike. Never dull, always uplifting and inspiring Mera is just fantastic on this disc. Perhaps the only noticable change is the presence of samba/rhumba tracks which he handles superbly and with such poise and grace, ensuring this CD will be a long-player in anyone's collection.
One extra bonus has to be the simply exquisite inlay book, absolutely stunning photos and graphic design combine to give the Mera fan a fabulous 'extra' to the already sumptuous disc.
For established Mera fans or those looking to hear his divine offerings, you need look no further than this CD. It represents one of the vocal gifts of our genereation at his best, a CD surely all will treasure. Enjoy.
